Terms of Sale
To reserve a lamb until they are weaned, we require a $100 non-refundable deposit. Payment of the deposit will hold the lamb until they are weaned, at 8 weeks of age. At that time payment is due in full. Lambs should be picked up within 2 weeks of weaning date. After this date lambs will be reevaluated on an on-going basis and the selling price revised as they grow and develop. Costs of labor, feeding, vaccines, worming, coccidia preventives, and other factors will be considered in the reevaluation and price revision process.
If a buyer is not able to pick up an animal as agreed, the sale will be null and void. Deposit will not be refunded.
All animals are priced on the farm; all shipping-related costs are additional. Additional veterinarian health certificate fees apply for transport across state lines. Please ask about delivery arrangements that we have available for an additional fee.
At the time you send payment, please include the name, complete address and zip code of the person(s) whose name(s) will appear on the registration certificate. Please make all checks payable to Wendell and/or Marsha Pohl.
We do not guarantee the health of an animal once it leaves the care and management of our farm.
